The "Haus am Wald" is situated in the village Egg on the outskirts of the forest. Here you will find pure calmness and subnatural recreation. Additionally the "Haus am Wald" is a perfect point of origin for many destinations because it is located very centrally in the border triangle Germany/Switzerland/France.

Egg is part of the climatic spa Rickenbach and is situated above Bad Säckingen, about 6 km afar from Swiss border. Here the "High-Rhine" extends from "Stein am Rhein" (CH) via Waldshut and Bad Säckingen up to Basel (CH). On the sun terrace of south Black Forest at 750 metres above sea level we have a healing climate and pure air, which will make your stay to a restful experience.

Arrival by car: via highway A5 towards Freiburg / Basel; onward via highways A98, A861 towards Rheinfelden; continuing via federal road B34 to Bad Säckingen and via local road to Egg via highway A81 towards Stuttgart / Singen; onward via highway A864 and federal roads B27, B314 to Waldshut-Tiengen; continuing via federal road B34 to Bad Säckingen and via local road to Egg from Switzerland: via highway A3 Basel - Zurich leave at exit Eiken; onward via Stein to Bad Säckingen and via local road to Egg Arrival by train: take long-distance trains towards Freiburg / Basel up to Basel Bad. Bf. and change to connecting regional trains up to Bad Säckingen; take Bus line 7327 up to Egg from Switzerland: take long-distance trains towards Basel up to Basel Bad. Bf. and change to connecting regional trains up to Bad Säckingen; take Bus line 7327 up to Egg       or take lines S27 or S41 (suburban railway of Zurich) up to Waldshut and change to connecting regional trains up to Bad Säckingen; take Bus line 7327 up to Egg
